It’s coming! Are you ready? A local retreat for our women, right here at Valley Christian Church in Conway, New Hampshire!

Our theme is “Women Under Construction—Constructive Changes: Get Excited About What God is Doing in You!” Join us for a time of refreshing as we draw closer to the Lord and each other! You’ll get worship music that builds, several constructive teaching times with famous speakers such as Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Jennifer Rothschild and more, drama, some fun workshops (cake decorating, anyone? Glazing? (and I’m not talking about the cake!)), and of course fun and fellowship.

Save the dates: Friday evening, Saturday evening on October 17th and 18th. There’s no cost, but we’ll all pitch in to provide the food. Bring a sleeping bag and air mattress…bring a friend! Pioneer Clubs is coming soon! We will begin our weekly ministry to the children of the valley Wednesday evenings beginning Oct. 8.

We are still in need of a team for the 2-3 year old group. All this requires is 2 people who have a heart willing to serve God and love to play with kids. It is a fun age and a small group. If we are unable to meet this need, these children will end up in our nursery. If you are willing to serve, please let me know ASAP.

We are also looking for people willing to be on a substitute teacher list. If you are willing to help out and fill in when needed, please let me know.

If you are on the team as teachers, there will be a meeting on Sunday, Sept. 21 immediately following the worship service. Please bring a lunch and we will discuss the upcoming year.

Most of all, I ask that everyone in our church body PRAY! Please put this ministry on your prayer list. We need prayer for the teachers, cooks, subs, and most of all for the children who will be coming through our doors. Give them safety and a willing heart to come each week to hear and apply God’s word. Pray that we as teachers will all seek the Holy Spirit and fully rely on him to provide all that we need each week.
