We have an immediate opening for someone to join out Grades 1/2 Junior Church Team. You can work as an assistant or share the teaching responsibility. You work for 2 weeks every 8 weeks. If you are willing to give your time to the children, please see Heather W.

Here are a few upcoming events to mark on your calendars! Saturday, March 14: Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 8am followed by a carpooling trip to Cabela’s in Scarborough, Maine. Friday, March 27 & Saturday, March 28: Men’s Retreat at Bob & Judy G’s. Plan to come for all or part as we fellowship, delve into God’s Word and encourage each other as brothers in Christ. All youth, grades 6-12, are invited to Winterfest 2009 at the home of John and Donna Hennessy.    This will take place on Friday night, February 20th from 6 PM to 9 PM.  The Hennessys live in Chatham, NH.  If any youth want a ride from VCC we will leave the parking lot at 5:30 PM and return by 9:45 PM.  From 6 PM – 7 PM the youth will practice for the Easter Cantata and from 7 PM – 9 PM we will go sledding, ice-skating, have a bon-fire, and warm up with hot-chocolate.

Things to Bring – sleds, warm winter clothes, ice-skates.

Pastor Jeff Johnson preaches from Ephesians 5:22-33 part 3

Please set aside Sat Feb 21 for cleaning the Lord’s house. It is that time again when it needs a real good cleaning and lots of hands make light the work. Besides it is great time to fellowship. I am sure that some of the men will be there bright and early but come when you can and stay as long as you can all help is welcome and we will be sure to find something you can do.
