THIS SUNDAY /January 29th/ “OPENING DOORS”

The most important relationship we have in our lives is the one that Jesus died on a cross to restore, that is our relationship with God. Jesus essentially opened the door to give us access to Heaven . . . eternity with God.
God brings many people into our lives and from those intersections in our lives, we develop friendships, acquaintances and other various relationships. The Bible tells us that, if you’ve got your relationship with God in order and your relationship with other people in order, you are doing what God put you on earth to do. This week I want us to look at how God wants us to maintain and improve those relationships for His glory . . . and receive blessings as a result!.
Join us Sunday morning as we go to the Word of God for some eternal wisdom.

DON’T MISS THIS SUNDAY’S MESSAGE! . . . AND BRING A FRIEND

CHILDREN . . . you all know one, or have one, or are related to one … maybe you are one and if not, you certainly were one! As parents, every one of us really wants to be good parents. We want to have strong families.

As Grandparents, relatives, friends and neighbors; we can all have incredible input on children. But the fact is,. . . the pace that we live and the constant pressures of our careers to always produce more and in doing that we often put our families at risk. The questions that we are confronted with are; can we achieve success and build a healthy family at the same time?

Is it possible to raise Faithful and Christlike children in today’s environment and world. How do we protect our children without totally secluding them by removing them from society? Join us Sunday morning for what I really believe can be life-changing information from God’s Word. We will look at some essentials that Children need most.

THIS SUNDAY January 17th … Portland Mission Trip!!! [weather permitting]

We’ll leave after morning worship and head out … we still need coats, blankets, and food such as: snacks – tuna in tear-open containers or any other high protein food, canned food that has a “pop-open” lid (please remember that they don’t have anything to open cans), snack bars, and juices (tomato juice is good). Call Rick with any additional questions; 603-447-6744

WHEN WE “FAIL” . . . What does God want us to do?

If you have a TV and watched the news on a regular basis last year (which includes most of us) … you had the dubious opportunity to watch Charlie Sheen go through “rants” about his lifestyle which were punctuated frequently with the word “Winning.” This he said was an attempt to describe  how he felt about what was going on in his life since being fired from his very lucrative TV series. From my point of view, (that of one who has  failed in his life several times … not just talking about geometry here) it seemed to me that he was “Failing” in his attempts to show the world that his life was “great” … and that he didn’t need anyone or anything else.

In this life we all fail at different points and times, however unlike Mr. Sheen I believe we do recognize those times in our lives when we’ve failed. So then, why do our failures impact us the way they do. Why do they haunt us. Does God tell us what to do when we fail? That’s what I want to talk  about and share with you this Sunday . . . see you then.
