Our music ministry provides music on Sunday mornings. We also provide music for outreach events such as sunrise Easter service. Everyone involved in the music ministry is devoted to serving the Lord Jesus in any way they can. We all have a heart for singing or signing worship.
We have the need for people to play instruments, sing, and use their technical ability working on the sound board.
In Psalm 95:1 it says, “Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!” That is what we do.
Our choice of music is quite varied. We like hymns, which are full of doctrine and scriptural reference. We also blend in many modern music styles and artists. We play bluegrass music at times and at others a more mellow pop style. Christ Tomlin and Matt Maher are two of our favorite modern artists. We recently brought back And Can it Be That I Should Gain in a traditional hymn style with guitar.
Here are some example of songs we like to play. While this is not our worship team you can see the styles we like.
Matt Maher, “Your Grace is Enough”
Chris Tomlin, “Indescribable”
