Missions

The Bibles says in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

We believe the local church is commanded to share the Gospel with all people we come into contact with. We also believe we must support the efforts of the men and women who are called into the mission fields.

We have supported the efforts of a pastor teaching other pastors about the Bible in countries that persecute Christians. We reach out to the homeless and needy in Conway and Portland, ME. We have supported the efforts of a couple called to minister in the bluegrass community. We support the efforts of one of our members to reach out to people in Mexico. We also support the efforts of another member to travel to Honduras to provide medical and dental care to people who cannot get these services in their country.
