Glorifying God through Reaching, Teaching, Serving and Sending

God’s Blessing Exchange (Part 2) Sunday July 15th

Prayer . . . We talk about it, we say were going to do it, we promise others we’ll pray for them… however sometimes it seems so hard to pray, and to know what to say when we do pray. Some people seem to have great deal of ease in their prayer life while others really struggle and prefer not to pray out loud.
I think one of the greatest blessings we have as believers in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, is the ability to go to Him in prayer… To speak to Him and make our requests known to Him. We can intercede for others, we are to pray for the needs and salvation of others, and have the freedom to lay out all of our petitions before him in prayer. Yet at times we all struggle.
This Sunday we’ll talk about prayer; is there one way to pray that’s better than another, are there things that keep me from praying, and what can I do to enrich and maintain my prayer life on an ongoing basis.
I hope to see you this Sunday as we talk about this most important blessing and what God’s word has to say to us about prayer.
1 Thessalonians 5:12-19 (NASB)
