“What Is God Really Like? ” Week 4
This week we will observe, celebrate and share together as we recognize mother’s day and the blessings “moms” have brought into our lives. The “bright spots” of memories (for most of us that is … ) that they bring to mind are always encouraging – loving – giving and forgiving. Selfless acts of love and sacrifice.
Then I want to go 180 degrees in the opposite direction. To the “Times of Darkness” that happen in all of our lives . . . David refers to them as the “Valley of the shadow of death” (Psalm 23:4).
Where is God during the discouraging, depressing, lonely empty times of our lives. As we continue this week seeking top know what God is really like . . . what do you think He has to say about these “times” . . . what does He want us to do during these times of darkness?
God’s word has much to say to us about those times . . . Join us Sunday as we open and share in the truth of God’s Word!
