What’s the best thing that has ever happened to you … the best, the greatest news you have ever received? Where were you when that happened? Do you remember … of course you do! Who was the first person you shared that with?

It’s with news like that, that energy, excitement and enthusiasm becomes contagious and spreads. I have seen it happen over and over again.

That’s what happened at Pentecost when Peter stood and shared the “Good News of Jesus Christ” . . . it says in Acts 2:41 (HCSB) “So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about 3,000 people were added to them.” Acts 2:47 (HCSB) tells us that this continued … ^” . . . And every day the Lord added to them those who were being saved.”

This will be our focus this week … knowing all this – what is my part in this “Good News”?
